What is Kinesiology?
What if you could turn someone’s pain into raw power—rewiring movement so every step, lift, and breath becomes stronger, freer, and more alive?
Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement, combining anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, motor control, and psychology to understand how bodies produce, adapt to, and recover from motion; in a kinesiology degree you learn musculoskeletal anatomy and exercise physiology, biomechanics and movement analysis, motor learning and control, rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise, sport and exercise psychology, and nutrition, alongside research methods, measurement and assessment, and basic data analysis and instrumentation skills, while gaining hands‑on experience through labs, movement assessment, fitness testing, supervised practicums or co‑ops, and applied projects that teach program design, injury prevention, exercise prescription, and outcome evaluation—preparing you for careers in rehabilitation support, athletic and performance coaching, exercise and wellness programming, ergonomics and occupational health, strength and conditioning, clinical research, or further professional study in physiotherapy, medicine, chiropractic, or advanced exercise science.
