What is College?
In Canada, colleges are institutions that provide practical, career-oriented education and training. College Vs University
If something is taught in university it is also taught in college, just with a different title. College is a hands-on learning experience that has a lot more kinesthetic learning. Where as university is very theoretical, college teaches by mostly doing. Its actually a great option, especially for programs where you have to work with your hands, or body.
Compared to universities, colleges are often smaller and may offer a more personal learning environment with closer interaction between students and professors. Some colleges also provide two-year programs, such as associate degrees, or focus on specific areas like liberal arts, technology, or vocational training. The meaning of “college” can vary depending on the country, but in general, it refers to a place where students gain specialized knowledge and skills to prepare for their future careers or further education.

Nursing is every popularly taken in college. Actually a large part of universities partner with colleges to make 2+2 programs from both the college and the university!

Learning how to be very hands on with technology, and build computer hardware as well as manage software. In college a information technology job is a great way to get straight into the hands on aspects of computers
