What and Where is U of T Mississauga (UTM)
The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) is one of the three campuses of the University of Toronto, located at 3359 Mississauga Road in Mississauga, Ontario, about 33 kilometers west of downtown Toronto. Established in 1967 as Erindale College, UTM now spans 225 acres along the scenic Credit River valley, offering a peaceful, park-like setting for academic life. It is the second-largest U of T campus by enrollment, with over 17,000 students and 15 academic departments offering a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs.
UTM is known for its state-of-the-art facilities, including the Terrence Donnelly Health Sciences Complex and the Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre, and for its strengths in research areas such as biology, psychology, robotics, and machine learning.
