Conestoga College (officially Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning), founded in 1967, is a large polytechnic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, with campuses and training centers also in Cambridge, Guelph, Stratford, Ingersoll, Brantford, Milton and other locations. It offers 300+ full-time, career-focused programs (certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, apprenticeships, post-graduate certificates and over 25 degree programs), many with co-op options, across fields such as engineering & technology, business, health & life sciences, trades & apprenticeship, media & design, community services, and hospitality. How to Get In?
Nursing is one of Conestoga's most competitive programs, with a recommended 80%+ for admission. Most other programs are nowhere near that baseline at only passing or 65%+ required grades! Though these are minimums and for programs with competition a good 5% margin is really beneficial.
Generally:
Make sure to take all required courses for your desired program
Just obtain the highest mark you can get, the higher the better, you can get better scholarships and have a higher chance of admission, make sure your average stays above the minimum requirements!
