Getting into Ivey AEO
AEO is applying from grade 12, so that you will have admission to Ivey for the 3rd and 4th year
Along as you maintain an average of 80% (78% for engineering) you will keep admission to Ivey
On the other hand, if you are a Western student (or affiliated colleges), you can apply to Ivey at the end of your 2nd year
Ivey has an 8% acceptance rate for AEO (Advanced Entry Opportunity)
Very competitive, about 600 spots for about 7,000 applicants each year
50% Supplemental
2 large essays on extra curriculars, sports, initiatives or any activity you would like to talk about
They are looking for leadership, and what change you have made in the activity
Did you start something, push your team for success, change something for the better? Those are the stories they are looking for
50% Academics
They always look for a 92%+ average, though after a certain point they do not care about it
As long as you make the cut, it comes down mostly to supplemental
There have been many cases where a 93% average was admitted and not a 98% average (Because of supplemental)
Ivey is always very competitive though, so keep grades high if it comes back for a tiebreaker
